FAQ
The practical details.
Straight answers about planning, installation and living with OMOD.
Product & Installation
How long does installation take?
Most wardrobe runs can be installed within the same day, depending on size, layout and site conditions.
What wall types can OMOD be installed on?
OMOD is a securely wall-anchored modular wardrobe system with visible floor clearance, so the wall matters. Singapore homes mix concrete, brick and lightweight partition walls. Our team assesses wall type and installation suitability during the site survey and will advise if a particular wall or layout isn't appropriate.Read the Guide on materials and wall safety >>>
What if my wall is uneven?
Our team checks site conditions during measurement and installation planning so the system can be fitted appropriately.
Is OMOD tested for formaldehyde?
OMOD is CTI-tested with 0 formaldehyde detected. OMOD uses a metal-based modular system rather than a conventional engineered-wood wardrobe carcass.
Will an open wardrobe collect dust?
Open wardrobes do collect visible ambient dust, but they are also easier to access and clean. Enclosure options such as curtains, sliding doors or hinged doors are available if you prefer more coverage.Read the Guide on dust and humidity >>>
Can I add accessories later?
Yes. Shelves, rods, baskets and other compatible accessories can be added later, subject to the available layout and system compatibility.Read the Guide on adding on later >>>
Can I reconfigure the wardrobe later?
Yes. Components can be repositioned to change the balance of hanging, shelving and drawers, subject to the available layout and system compatibility. Send us a photo of your current setup and we'll advise on the options.
How much weight can the system hold?
Up to 50kg per shelf panel. That's the system's rated capacity rather than a target — spread heavier items across the run and keep loads even.
Can I choose an enclosed wardrobe?
Yes. OMOD works with the enclosure of your choice — open, curtain, sliding or hinged — by our partners or yours. Enclosure, if selected, is quoted separately.
Pricing & Payment
What is included in the OMOD price?
The quoted wardrobe price covers the modular system components, site survey, delivery, professional installation and the 3-year warranty.
Is enclosure included in the quoted wardrobe price?
No. Enclosure, if selected, is quoted separately.
Can I get an indicative quote before the site survey?
Yes. Tell us your wall width and what you'd like to store and we'll share an indicative range. The final quote is confirmed after the site survey.Read the Guide on measuring your wall >>>
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms are confirmed with your quotation. Message us and we'll walk you through the current terms before you commit to anything.
Enclosures & Contractor Coordination
Can OMOD work with my existing Interior Designer or contractor?
If you already have an Interior Designer or contractor, we're happy to coordinate with them for measurements, installation sequencing and enclosure planning.
Can I use my own enclosure contractor?
Yes. OMOD works with the enclosure of your choice — by our partners or yours.
Can OMOD help with sliding, hinged or curtain enclosures?
Yes. We can arrange curtain, sliding or hinged enclosures through our partners, and advise on what suits your wall and clearance. Enclosure is quoted separately.
What if a partition or enclosure needs to be built first?
We'll sequence around it. Tell us the planned works at the site survey and we'll agree an installation date that comes after the wall or enclosure structure is ready.
After-Sales, Warranty & Relocation
What does the 3-year warranty cover?
OMOD includes a 3-year parts replacement warranty against manufacturer defects. If you need help with a component or adjustment after installation, contact us and we'll advise on the next step.
Can I move OMOD to my next home?
Yes. The system is designed to be dismantled and re-installed, subject to the dimensions and wall conditions of the new location.Read the Guide on moving your wardrobe >>>
Can I add shelves, rods, baskets or drawers later?
Yes. Compatible accessories can be added later, subject to the available layout and system compatibility.
Who should handle dismantling and re-installation?
Our installation team. Anchoring and load-bearing points need to be set up correctly in the new home, so we'd rather handle the removal and refit for you.
